Introducing: The Tourist
The Gauteng Tourism Authority GTA, has entered into a publishing partnership with Business Day for the development of The Tourist. This is in response to fragmented strategies and messages within the marketplace, particularly with regards to integrated market intelligence on the local tourism industry.
Apart from reporting on developments and trends in the industry, The Tourist will build on Business Days respected coverage of business and policy issues, allowing for in depth exploration and analysis of institutional arrangements, legislative frameworks and strategic alliances that are part and parcel of Gautengs tourism landscape.
The GTA invites all partners across the tourism value chain to take advantage of the exciting opportunity that this joint venture presents to develop, profile and position their tourism products and engage in robust dialogue on all aspects of the industry.
In conceptualising this title, the GTA and Business Day have ensured that The Tourist not only provides a platform for tourism marketing and debate on every aspect of tourism in the province, spanning all six of Gautengs tourism regions, but also that the publication becomes a unifying communication tool for tourism practitioners and ambassadors throughout SA.
The Tourist will appear in Business Day on the second Friday of each month.
